Dettifoss Waterfall

Dettifoss, located in the northeast of Iceland, is one of the most powerful and spectacular waterfalls in Europe, and represents one of the most precious gems of Vatnajökull National Park. With a width of about 100 meters and a height of 45 meters, Dettifoss not only fascinates with its grandeur, but also with its extraordinary flow, which can reach 500 cubic meters of water per second, derived from the Jökulsá á Fjöllum river, fed by the Vatnajökull glacier.
