Movieland

Movieland, located in Lazise on Lake Garda, is the first theme park in Italy dedicated entirely to the world of cinema. Inaugurated in 2002, Movieland is part of the Canevaworld Resort complex and offers visitors a unique experience that combines the adrenaline of attractions with the magic of cinema. Its creation marked an important step forward in the Italian entertainment industry, transforming the way people live and interact with the world of film and television. The park is divided into different themed areas, each inspired by famous films and cinematic genres. Among the most famous attractions are “Magma 2.1”, an adventure on a military truck through an erupting volcano, and “Diabolik Invertigo”, a roller coaster that offers an exciting ride back and forth. There are also attractions for children, such as “Baby Pangea” and “Cars Race”, inspired by cartoons and animated films that have marked the childhood of many. Each area is carefully curated to faithfully recreate the atmosphere of the films it is inspired by, offering an immersive and engaging experience. A distinctive feature of Movieland is its focus on creating immersive and interactive experiences. An emblematic example is “Asylum”, the first Italian Horror Experience in a theme park. This attraction, opened in 2022, offers a thrilling journey through a haunted asylum, where visitors become part of the story. Flesh-and-blood actors interact with the audience, creating an adrenaline-pumping and unique experience. This attraction represents the evolution of traditional “haunted houses”, taking the concept of horror entertainment to a new level.
